About Us

JMDA gives children, young people and adults the opportunity to explore with stimulus, experiment with their ideas as well as work with music, meet new friends and give them an enjoyable time with a sense of achievement.

All of this will develop their performance skills and chance to perform at local events.

Aims

The group is set up to give young people positive artistic experience through dance working with professional artists, sharing skills and experience.

To carry out this purpose Justify Move Dance Academy will:

·         Facilitate dance workshops and classes.

·         Give young people the opportunity to experiment with dance.

·         Allow the participants to transfer their own sills into a new and challenging environment using dance as the main focus.

·         Have ownership over Justify Move Dance Academy work

·         Strengthen and develop team building skills and confidence

·         Use dance that reflects Holme Valley cultural diversity.

Have the opportunity to perform and share our work with other people
