We had a great time yesterday at our HALLOWEEN Fancy Dress DANCE class.

We had plenty of witches, zombies and skeletons on the scene who danced to Monster Mash and Thriller.

Justify Move Dance Academy

We are looking for new : Volunteer community administratorand members of Board of Trustees.

Do you love helping communities and engaging them with acreativity? Well that is what we do well. We are looking for enthusiastic volunteerswho can contribute couple hours a week to help out with our administrations,marketing and organsiation of events within Kirklees area.

We are also looking for new members for board of trustees soanyone who has passion and drive for community dance please apply.

JMDA is a non-profit community dance organization, whooffers and delivering creative dance lessons, workshops within Kirkleescommunities.

Skills required:

Essential:  CRB certificate (if not can be discuss ofapplying for one)

Desirable:Interested in Arts and or Fitness/Health, handy person, volunteer

Holmfirth Tiger Musical 2012 Auditions

Wanted!  Singers, Dancers or anyone with an interest inperforming arts. All abilities welcome!

Theperformance will celebrate the story of Fenella the Holmfirth tiger and it aimsto connect people from all areas of the community through dance and theatre.

The project ispart of The Cultural Festival 2012, which is coordinated by local communitydance group Justify Move Dance Academy

Justify Move Dance Academy is looking for a talented andenthusiastic community dance teacher (trainee).

You will be planning and delivering dance & fitness lessons& workshops in various dance styles (Street, Jazz, Break Dance, Bollywood,Cotemporary and others) to children age 5+ and Adults. Also you will be helpingto promote and develop the JMDA’s dance programmers in West Yorkshire.

This position will start in January 2012 and last at least 6month, 4-10hrs per week (with an opportunity to increase to 18hrs per week).This is part time position as freelance dance tutor (self-employment) withstarting salary £15.00p/hr and increasing up to £25.00-£30.00p/hr. Fulltraining will be provided. Living in Kirklees area is an advantage but notnecessary. However if you do not live in Kirklees be prepared to travel tolocations in Kirklees area.

The appropriate candidate will have BA or BA Hons in Danceor Performing Arts, CRB certificate (or we can help to apply for CRB and helpwith the cost), Public Liability Insurance (again we can help to apply and meethalf of the cost, subject to terms and conditions). This is great startingpoint for someone who has the passion and drive to excel in teaching dance incommunity and for the right person with an opportunity to progress within thecompany.

JMDAwill be closing down Tuesday evening Classes.

After2 years of running our Tue/Thur evening classes WE are sorry to announce that due to low number ofchildren and adults on our evening dance classes at Holmfirth Civic Hall, theTuesdays nights will be cancelled from December 2011. We have last four classeson:

Tuesday 8th, 15th 22nd and 29th November 2011.

If the number will be low in January 2011, theclasses will not reopen in January 2012.

JMDA will still continue to deliver dance workshopand after school clubs in schools and colleges, as well as delivering andorganising Dance Festival 2012.
