WELCOME TO ALL NEW MEMBERS
The Christmas show was held at Holmfirth Civic Hall before Christmas on the Tuesday 3rd December.
Parents and friends were all invited to see what the children from Brockholes and Holmfirth had been learning. They weren’t disappointed.
They showed their amazing talents with a show themed around fairy tales. So the audience were treat to dance routines around Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan and The Wizard of Oz.
The show was a resounding success. The children danced their hearts out, much to the delight if the packed audience full of very proud mums and dads.
The children gave their all. It was the perfect start to the Christmas festivities, everyone left feeling in the holiday spirit.
This year the theme is based on the TOUR DE FRANCE – Tour of Yorkshire.
We are looking for people who can ride bicycles and creating a short performance which will be performed on the day of the Tour in July .

New Year – New Teacher
Welcome to our new dance teacher, Rosie Young.
Rosie is a recent graduate with a First Class BA Hons degree in Community and Applied Dance Theatre.
She is very excited to be working for Justify Move, applying her dance skills to work with children and adults alike. She will be aiming to offer fun, yet challenging dance sessions so as to keep people interested and on their toes. Her skills mean she can offer a range of dance styles as well as work on technique.
Also. Rosie will be introducing a weekly award for the best dancer who will be chosen by her, announced the following week and they will receive a certificate and a small prize. There will also be an award for the most improved dancer of the month.
Tell us your opinion
JMDA would like to set up a private @[email protected] on Facebook, where parents can post their own pictures/videos of their children, either practising a routine, or stretching at home, as well as classroom pictures. This would be a closed group. Be assured that only members of JMDA can join and will have to go through an acceptance and everything would be set tp private. Would you be interested in this?
We thank you for your continued support; please can you let us know what you like about us and what we could improve on? A feedback and suggestion box will be provided at each class, please comment; it all helps us get better! All suggestions will remain anonymous.
