Charlie Go, Go, Go!!

Last month we told youthat Charlie Horrocks was one of the finalists of a ‘Netherthongs Got Talent’organised by Netherthong J&I School. Charlie has decided to fusion streetdance with break dancing and you could have seen his brilliant performance onFriday 11th February at 6.30 and JMDA was there to support him. When hefinished his performance there was a standing ovation from a judges. Theatmosphere in the room was fantastic. There were many talented children,however Charlie’s entertaining dance routine, with a t-shirt which he designedby himself saying: I am good I am not just showing off, won thecompetition with flying stars. Congratulations to Charlie. Well Done!!!

Sunday's Contest, On Saturday there willbe two concerts in Holmfirth Civic Hall including one by the highly regardedHepworth Band. Sunday will be the Contest itself followed once again by aparade of bands through Holmfirth.
